Artist Biography
3 Channels are Poland's Deeop (Grzegorz Demia?czuk) and Ketiov (Wojciech
Tara?czuk). Their acquaintance began in 2003 when Ketiov started to spin
his first records in clubs like Sonar and Taras Café and Deeop was already
widely known for his enormous records collection and participation in every
party in the city of Stettin. In late 2003 they organized their first
mutual party at Mezzoforte club, which was a huge success. Soon after they
became resident DJs there, giving them a chance to organize their own
parties simply named "Electronic House". The idea was to promote new dance
music completely different from what was played in most of the polish clubs
at the time. The "Electronic House" parties had the privilege to welcome
such people as: Tom Clark, Dub Taylor, John Tejada, Antonelli Electr.,
Wighnomy Brothers, Todd Bodine, Matthias Tanzmann and Duplex 100.
In September 2003 they broadcast their first radio show called "Session" at
the local Radio ABC alongside with their old mate Vitek. After a year
"Session" evolved into the 3 Channels project. Now the radio show is
broadcasted under the name of "Plastelina" and can be heard ever Thursday
from 6 to 7 pm CET. "Plastelina" has no sound limits and has one goal,
which is to promote modern electronic music from down tempo to electronic,
tech-house or techno music.
After half a year working with Votchik, 3 Channels decided to start
producing, giving birth to the songs released on the first Trenton Records
EP. Around late 2004, Votchik left the team and Deeop and Ketiov decided to
keep on producing as a duo, eventually leading to signings with more labels
like Trapez or Crosstown Rebels. They already have plans to release three
EPs and one album on their home label Trenton Records during the next year.
They have already played DJ sets in most of the cool spots in Poland and at
a few parties in Germany, France and UK. Their sets are a dance floor mix
of minimal tech-house, house and techno. They plan to start playing live in
a very near future.
