Delicious Biography

Delicious (Denise & Karina) are a dj/producer team originally from Copenhagen. These childhood friends grew up with a mutual interest and passion for electronic music and started djing together in 2001. They are always playing back-to-back which gives their set energy, dynamics and a good vibe that infects the crowd. Their style is a mixture of groovy house to more dirty electro house and minimal house.

Delicious have been active on the club scene since day one and have virtually djed at every venue and event in Denmark. In 2003 Delicious hosted a radio program on Kiss Fm Nordic, a weekend warm up session with the best in house music. In November same year they started Get Down, a house club located at Rust, one of Denmarks most established venues. The club was nominated for Best Club at Danish DJ Awards in 2004 and 2005.
They picked up producing soon after and started doing their own production work. The first single released on UK house label Illegal Beats was in collaboration with Kid Massive. The French label Paradise picked up their
single "Yours" which features the vocal talents of Tiger Lily, who has worked with Sucker Djs, Soul Avengerz, Roman Salzger, Ron Gelfer & Ben Macklin. The single "3rd Floor" is a collaboration with Danish producer Jan W, released on UK label Soundslike with remixes from Sharooz, Bryan Dalton and Kid Massive.

They recently opened their own label called LEKKER RECORDS as an outlet for their productions and others. The label is purely digital and is to be found at Beatport.com, Traxsource.com and Xpressbeats.com.

Delicious have been holding down various residencies all over Europe, including doing daily sessions at Bay Bar in Ibiza for the entire 2005 season. As well as a residency at Papagayo in St. Tropez, the Parisian clubs Manray, Madam and Redlight. They were in store residents for the Danish designers Bruuns Bazaar and compiled the music for at their Pret-A-Porter Fashion show in Paris and were regular djs at their Copenhagen Fashion Week parties. Latest they played at the Cannes Film Festival 60-years anniversary party 2007 and have been playing for various brands such
as Bacardi, Heineken, Moët et Chandon, Diesel, Miss Sixty, Nike and Italien designer Patricia Pepe. In the beginning of 2006 they toured with T-Mobiles Robbie Williams Club Tour in Germany and joined the Privilege World Tour.
They have played in clubs such as: Pacha (Ibiza, Munich, Algeria, Valencia), Privilege (Ibiza), Space (Ibiza), El Divino (Cologne), Redlight (Paris), Nikki Beach (St. Tropez, Marrakech), Papagayo (St. Tropez), Shelter (NY) and VIP Room (Luxembourg) to name a few.

They play regularly in clubs in Germany, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland and have guested various venues around the world in places such as: Miami, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin, Sweden, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, St. Martin (The Caribbean), La Reunion (Africa), Croatia and the Ukraine.

BIOGRAPHY:

Patrick Koops (a.k.a. Delicious) began DJ-ing in 1982 at the age of 16 years old. He started in a small club called Flat 113 which was the best learning experience any DJ could wish for. Night after night, year after year, he entertained a crowd of 300 till the time had come to move on with life. After a couple of years abroad he went back to his old habits and started a small label called World of Dance. This is where he met his current music partner Adri Block (a.k.a. Block & Crown) with whom he currently also forms the DJ/Producer duo ‘Jackers Revenge’. He got in touch with Adri who, at that time, worked for Lube in The Netherlands. After a successful start and 10 awesome releases on World of Dance Records (WOD Records), Patrick moved on to find other challenges.
After a couple of years apart the two teamed up again and found back the chemistry they had once before.

Having decades of years of experience in various positions in the music industry and as a DJ, Delicious is guaranteed to please the crowd and that is what it’s all about!
