We are very excited to announce the conception and innaugural release of Street Ritual recordings. Our first release is scheduled for June 1st, 2008. The album is a 60 minute, 16 track LP by KnowSleep, a collaboration by Know One and Sleepyhead featuring the sacred spoken words of Goddess Alchemy Project's Taylor Maiden Space and the ever-concsious flow of Seasunz, from the Santa Rosa based group Wisdom and most recently featured on Bassnectar's Underground Communication.KnowSleep is influenced by HipHop, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Pychedelia and Reggae all fused together into something completely unique. It's truly a unique blend of ethnic and indigenous ancient rhythm blended and syncopated to finely tuned classic breaks and beats. This album is a keen reflection of America's current state, a stoic call to action and a reflection of your nearest future, conceived with the purest of intent. We are very excited to present this focused statement in a time of change like now, as it is necessary now more than ever. |
