How do I sign up for a DJTUNES account?
Registering on DJTUNES is free and easy!
Just visit www.djtunes.com/register and fill out the registration form to sign up for a DJTUNES account.
After completing the form, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If you can't find the email in your inbox, check you spam folder. After clicking on the link in the email, your account will be activated and you will be able to log in with your username and password.
Alternatively you can log in to DTUNES via Facebook connect.
What is a user name; can I choose what I want?
This is the name that will be associated with in your DJTUNES account. It will be used as your user name to log-in to the DJTUNES site and will be part of your own personal DJTUNES URL.
You can use any name you like, as long as the name you choose is not already in use and doesn't contain any symbols or spaces. Something along the lines of 'electrofreak', 'djchris' or 'sexygirl1' - the choice is yours.
What is a displayed name, does it have to be the same as my user name?
A displayed name is the name that will be made public to all other users on the site. It doesn't have to be the same name as your user name and like before, you can choose any name you like, even if it is already in use.
I can't remember my password
If you click through to the log in page and click on the 'Lost Password' link, you can fill in your email address and we will send you a password reminder via email.
How Do I Search
Searching is just a matter of typing in a few keywords. If you don't select anything from the drop-down box, the site will search all fields for your keywords. You can narrow down the search by selecting 'Artist', 'Title' or 'Label' from the drop-down box and you can even search just using partial words and phrases.

The shopping cart isn't working properly, what should I do?
The main reasons why customers may encounter problems using the shopping cart are that they are ordering from within a firewalled company network, or ordering from a non-standard PC / Mac unit (eg a mobile telephone).
In both cases, the shopping cart may not function properly, so we recommend using a normal stand-alone PC / Mac where possible.
Another possible source of problems is that the security settings on your web browser are set at maximum, which prevents your computer communicating with our server properly.
How do I download?
When you a have successfully checked out, your tracks / releases will be moved automatically into your MYDJTUNES / DOWNLOAD AREA.
You can select what files you want to download by clicking on the 'Download' button.
If you want to download more than 5 tracks, we suggest you use our download manager by selecting the tracks that you want to download and by clicking on the 'Download Items' button.
The download manager will open and automatically add them to a zip file. All you have to do is select the folder on your pc where you want to save the files by clicking 'Select Folder' and then 'Save' to download.
Technical problems can occur due to old scripts that have been saved by your internet browser (i.e. player doesn't open). When a browser first visits a domain it temporarily saves scripts in its cache to let you move around the site faster. If you have encountered any problems with DJTUNES follow these simple steps to clear your cache and continue browsing the site
Press SHIFT+CTRL+R to clean your browser cache and the problem should be solved If problems persist, try to deleting the temporary internet files.
Internet Explorer 6: open the menu 'Tools> Internet Options> General> Temporary Internet Files', click the 'Delete Files' button and this will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache. Reload DJTUNES to continue browsing.
Mozilla/Firefox 1.5: 'Tools> Options> Advanced> Network/Cache' (or use 'Tools> Clear Private Data', if 'Cache' is selected in your Privacy / Private Data.
With Mozilla/Firefox 2.0: 'Tools>Clear Private Data' to clear the cache. Reload DJTUNES to continue browsing.
With Mozilla/Firefox 3.0: 'Tools>Clear Recent History' to clear the cache. Reload DJTUNES to continue browsing.
Safari: 'Safari' menu, choose 'Empty Cache' in the warning dialog that appears, click on 'Empty', visit DJTUNES again by clicking the 'Visit' button in iWeb or reload. Should any of the above not help you with your problem please feel free to contact us.
Opera 8.x: Select 'Tools -> Preferences'. Open the Advanced sub-categories and select 'History'. Select 'Empty now' next to 'Disk Cache' and 'Memory Cache'. Click 'OK' to clear cache. Also you can clear cache using Clear All History 'Clear cache' feature for Opera.
Opera 7.x: Open the 'Edit' menu. Select 'Preferences'. Open the Advanced sub-categories and select 'History'. Select 'Empty now' next to 'Disk Cache' and 'Memory Cache'. Click OK. Also you can clear cache using Clear All History 'Clear cache' feature for Opera.
