You have to be a bit of a freak and a bit of a maniac to honestly believe
that in times like ours the world is crying out for yet another label for
electronic dance music. Friends and collegues shook their head in dismay
and thought something to be completely unnessessary which has quickly
turned out to develop into a beautiful platform- for an edgy crooked
minimal sound which shall soon make the clubs of the world a better place.
hi freaks adresses both maker and listener, dj and dancer, artist and
consumer. They are all invited to follow the evolution of intelligent
dancemusic and to enjoy the musical output of a young label. At the same
time they are all called to influence this development. Heads of the label
are the two musicians from Bremen known as goldfish und der dulz, in
cooperation with jan langer. The two music makers can now enjoy an ever
increasing community of fans, which has made them exporters of their music.
Jan, who is also responsible for the label work at confused-recordings,
spiel-zeug or dance electric, is: the third man.

The most challanging thing now is to sign new artists like for example
"white trash", the wellknown "zimmermann" or the ultra talented newcomers
"piemont".
