This new version of the classic Manfred Mann track 'Blinded By The Light' was already produced a few years ago by german DJ MICHAEL MIND. But a short while after Michael finished his demo version the Discoboys had huge success with their 'For You' track - which is also a remake of a classic Manfred Mann track. So Michael decided not to go with his track to avoid an image as a copy-cat. But his 'Blinded..' demo version was heard by a well known german house production team. They convinced Michael to finish his track in a cooperation and sent it to some record companies.
