Pig & Dan return the fold with a new EP, 'London's Calling', specifically created for Techno Therapy Records, it's now their second in six months. Both tracks on the EP have been created in line with the labels current conspiracy theory theme, delivering two incredible productions of enigmatic Acid Techno.
London¿s Calling, the first track on the EP is full of rolling beats and sounds that piece together a sonic landscape that seems to be everlasting. This until in a single moment, the track disappears only to pierce back to life seemingly taking on a life of its own. This roller coaster of a musical ride offers the emotion and depth that is synonymous with Techno Therapy and another reason that shows why this partnership between label and producer is one that will develop for time to come.
The more driving Shockwave (second track on the release) offers a futuristic take on the Acid Techno sound, taking it to the next level. When listening to the track for either the first or 100th time, you are sent spiraling to the dance floor, where you just know from the feeling in your gut, that this will shake the foundations of clubs, warehouses, basements, arches and wormholes across the globe.
When the unfortunate theft of Dan's laptop meant the only copies of London¿s Calling and Shockwave were the mastered version on the Techno Therapy Records hard drive, the parts and pieces of the tracks have been lost forever.
Released on the same day as the huge Techno Therapy event 'London's Calling Warehouse Rave' which is on 11.11.11 in a secret Location, London. The event also features Techno Therapy Allstars... Darko Esser, Perc and Ryan Davis. For more info check out www.technotherapy.info/11eleven11
