Sunloverz Biography

House DJ / Production duo from germany. This project is in fact the reason
for the foundation of lickin' records. After producing and remixing a great
number of tracks for labels all over the word (f.e. rise / itlay, superior/
germany, eastwest/ germany, incentive / UK) Frank Sanders and Bernd Johnen
produced the track All Around The World in spring 2004. This very catchy
summer house anthem with a lot of latin percussions ,a french style
compressed synth-line and huge singing vocals was the start up for lickin'
records as the two guys decided to give their loved musicstyle an own
homebase. With this track the two DJs and producers created their typical
Sunloverz style. A mixture of latin percussive house, some tribal beats, a
bit of french filter house and the anthem character of great vocal house
hymns. A style which you also will hear when the 2 guys hit the decks in
their famous Sunloverz DJ sets. The vocals hooks to this song were written
and performed by Jan Löchel an international known songwriter who works
also for ATB, 4 Strings, H-Blockx and RANK 1 just to mention a few. All
Around The World was worldwide licensed from spinnin records / NL. The
second Sunloverz Single Shine On was released in April 2005 just as a one-
sided testpressing and sold over 2500 copies in just a few weeks. Shine On
is an adaption of the classic 80s 'Shining Song' by Steve Winwood - who
also supplied the basis to the worldwide No. 1 hit 'Call On Me'. The track
reached top 20 positions in all relevant german dance charts (f.e. DDC,
DMC, ODC 40) and remained there for 9 weeks. It is a 'must have' track for
every DJ who also plays Call On Me, So Much Love To Give, Falling Stars,
High Again and has a big airplay potential. It even attracted big attention
on the WMC in Miami. 'Shine On' was just re-released by CLUBLAND RECORDS
germany with new remixes from OLAV BASOSKI, HEIKO & MAIKO and CLUBLAND
ALLSTARS on the clubland label and strikes all dancecharts and - floors
once again this winter. The guys are also doing great remix jobs. Their
spectacular remix for 'CLOUD 9 How Shall I Rock Thee?' (produced by C-MOS)
got massive support from big jocks s.a. Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Jerry
Ropero, Stonebridge, Seamus Haji, The Disco Boys, Lil Devious, Denis The
Menace and many more. Their version of 'RASMUS FABER - Get Over Here' was
released on the AZULI imprint together with an AXWELL remix. 2006 saw the
guys remixing tracks like 'NATURAL HIGH Live For One Day' (produced by
Morjac/ Denmark), DR. KUCHO! & GREGOR SALTO - Can't Stop Playing, HAJI &
feat. SEVI G. - Fallen Angel. Their first official SUNLOVERZ IN THE MIX CD
was released in early 2007 followed by their third single 'Survive' feat.
UK Artist Nicole Tyler with a big success in the club scene.
