Review from Sitting Ovation: Swirling dub-techno and finely-tuned beats are what makes the new Dubism EP from Upwellings so atention-grabbingly beautiful.
Well crafted, deep and altogether rather lovely dub-techno which is most definately worth your cash. If you're a fan of the likes of Quantec, Leo Cavallo, or perhaps more ambient stuff like Echospace/Deepchord or bvdub - then I expect there'll be plenty on offer here for you to enjoy.
Upwellings seems to be gathering a decent momentum too, with releases on deepindub.org, Schall-Netlabel and Klique already.
Upwellings shows here that he knowns how to perfectly mix minimal and dub elements with 4 tracks full of deep bass, of clicks and cracks, of refined and sensual harmony.
